About Saint Soprano
Many who spend a majority of their life in jail have a hard time adjusting when they are eventually let back into the real world. That was not the case for Saint Soprano. Every card was stacked against this guy when you lay his life out on the table. Statistically a poor kid from a single-parent household who winds up in trouble with the law before they are in middle school has less of a chance at having a good life compared to others who are born with a silver spoon in their mouth. SaintSoprano may have fallen through the cracks when he was younger, but after spending more than a decade locked up he left the system in the right state of mind and is now focused on one thing; music.
Saint Soprano spent much of his time behind bars working towards a better life. Instead of accepting what most do when locked up, he sprinted in the opposite direction. His hit the books and learned all he could about the music industry, law and business. Once he was released in December 2015, he set to work on his EP, The Phantom . Seven tracks of material dropped the following June. Next he’ll be be releasing The Phantom Of The Opera in May 2017, as well as his mixtape ReinKarnation: Makaveli Returns.. Having led the life he has, Saint Soprano notes of his sound, “It comes from a very dark place inside of me that I found a way to unlock and channel while I was away all those years. My style is completely original and genuine…No gimmicks; if I spit it I live it!” He feels listeners get a certain chill whenever they press play whether it’s his most personal to date “Face Time,” or his biggest so far, “Juice.”
Struggling throughout his life, Saint Soprano looked up to Tupac and later Beanie Sigel. He hopes to emulate what those two have done, and it on the verge of his own greatness with not only his music but his business ventures as well like his own record label, Black Forbes List Ent., co-founded by his brother. Saint Soprano’s life hasn’t been the easiest, but he is not letting those hurdles stop him from reaching the finish line with the big win in hand.
