An R&B duo comprised of Quez and MarQuis Maveriq, Same Different came together last calendar year as a collective of college friends who have collaborated in the past both representing Mount Vernon, NY. Operating independently in the past, they have combined not only their niche and core following to bolster the release of their Forward To The Past EP which will be available digitally February 23rd. Described as a 90s style body of work, the two incorporated a fusion of modern sonics and classic melodies offering a little something to everyone. 9 tracks in total, each of which personify their duality hence the group name Same Differentz.
No stranger to success together, MarQuis previously sang back up and was featured 2 tracks on Quez’s first album – Heartbreaks and Hennessy. The first single from the upcoming debut project is called “Fine” and features A1 the God and Jamal Ray. The accompanying visual is available below.
Same Differentz will be performing on March 8th at the IAS (Independent Artist Spotlight.)
