The Grynd Report sits down w/ Bishop3rd000 for an exclusive interview! @Bishop3rd000X

What’s going on? Please introduce yourself and tell us where you’re from.
What’s good, This is Bishop3rd000 from a small city in East Texas called Longview.

What was your inspiration to become a music artist?
The society that we live in is an inspiration to me. Music helps me understand this complex world better

With so many independent artists out here what makes you different & sets you apart?
I believe what sets me apart is the fact that I don’t follow trends or do it simply for the money. Music is therapy to me but at the same time I do realize this is a business. So I use music as a foundation for other ventures while not conforming to what’s trendy at the moment like most independent artist do in this landscape.

For those who may not have heard your music, how would you describe it?
I would describe my music as raw unapologetic social commentary from a black man who aims to push the limits of hip-hop.

Currently, what single / video are you pushing & where can we find it?
Currently pushing my self directed music video “SNICK” which can be found on youtube.

When you step in the studio, what are some things you must have on deck?
my notepad and a gang of bottle water. I sweat in the booth cause my style is like working out so I need that water on deck.

How did you come up with your name?
Bishop comes from 2pac character in Juice. I just felt like that character represented young black males in some shape form or fashion. 3rd comes from me being from Texas and you know we call Texas the 3rd coast. and the 000(Thousand) is just showing that i’m ahead of my time. Plus i’m paying homage to 2 of my favorite rappers with the name. 2pac and Andre3Stacks
