1. What’s going on? Please introduce yourself to THE GRYND REPORT and tell us where you’re from
What up Grynd Report!!! My name is Warchyld I’m from Philly and Im on the “Grynd” heavy ya dig?
2. Nice to meet you Warchyld! When did you start rapping and who or what inspired you?
I started at twelve years old my father was biggest inspiration in music he trained music into my soul as kid. My father is a still a singer to this day in Miami …. that’s inspirational to me.
3. With so many artists out here what makes you different & sets you apart?
My way of thinking I would say… I tend to move different avoid the current status quo! The wave everybody chases I create my own. I don’t follow trends or styles I set them. From promotion to music… I respect all artist but I also know how to move different.
4. Tell us something you enjoy doing [besides music] that most people don’t know.
I like boxing a lot growing up in Philly we use to box in the streets it made us warriors young. It made me love the sport. I also love spending time with my wife and kids they keep me grounded.
5. Currently, what project or single are you working on or pushing & where can we find it?
I’m gearing up to release my new mixtape “save your words ” hosted by Philly number 1 DJ Cosmic Kev. Im still deciding which single to go with because its so much heat on the project that I cant decide yet. [LAUGHS]
6. What’s been the most memorable moment so far in your music career?
I had my single “The Honey Moon” chart on the radio right under drake, Yo Gotti, and Ace Hood that was my moment. that’s when I knew I was closer than ever!
7. When you step in the studio, what are some of the things you like to have on deck?
Pepsi is my twist lol… Pepsi and SMS Audio Head Phones and I’m straight!
8. What are your goals musically for 2016?
Basically to for my brand to be a household name and for my music to reach new heights. I plan to tour the world by the end of the year and what I’m working on behind the scenes… Im sureI will get there!
9. What’s your definition of GRYND?
Never stopping until you reach your goals… And when you reach them set new ones to do it all over again!
