What’s going on? Please introduce yourself and tell us where you’re from?

I’m Frankie Ell and I’m originally from Lauderdale but I am currently residing in Tallahassee, FL.

How long have you been modeling and what motivated you to start?

I started modeling in ’08 and it was always something I wanted to do but was too afraid to jump start it. Once I started doing my own photoshoots with an old roommates’ of mine digital camera in the backyard it was a wrap!!

What do you prefer inside shoots or outside shoots and why?

Both. No preference because art has no preference and that’s what I strive to create: ART.

What is your definition of Grynd?

Getting out there and getting dirty. Not letting fifty thousand no’s keep you from accomplishing the dream you’ve set for yourself. Knowing your worth and working to show others as well.

One of the main topics in being successful is BRANDING yourself. How important is this in the modeling world?

Very important. You are your biggest supporter/biggest fan. No one is going to hold you down like you so branding yourself is a must. Becoming a household name that your supporters can hold on to and remember. Be who no one can forget.

In your experience what are some of the common mistakes you see in up and coming models?

Not investing in themselves properly. They’re picking the price over quality. Too many times I’ve referred models to good photographers but they feel as if the price is “too expensive” so they go and shoot with someone who is charging $30-$40 less and when they get they’re pictures, they don’t even want to post them because they are of poor quality. Invest. Invest. Invest.

What type of music do you prefer and what do you think about music now vs when you were coming up?

I listen to all types of music. ALL types. My Pandora is a plethora of all kinds of genres of music from Ester Dean to Big KRIT to classical piano. Growing up: real music. Now: bits and pieces of real music.

What’s next for you outside of modeling?

Living life. Not holding back because I’m afraid something might not go the way I want it to. Getting more in touch with myself and making random life long friends all around the world.

What is one thing in this world you would like to change?

The world.
