The Grynd Report Chops it up with The Queen of Hip Hop Mecca4ever

Thank You for spending time with The Grynd Report. Please Introduce yourself and tell us where you are from?
The Queen of Hip Hop Mecca4ever south side Jamaica queens NY.
Your latest single “Queen Tut” is making waves in the hip hop community. What inspired the concept and lyrics of this track?
What Evers on my mind I speak it or write it, the concept is real life events of my life & current events of this world with mixed things of the past.

You started your musical journey at the tender age of 5 as an R&B artist. Can you share with us how those early experiences shaped your current style and approach to music?

No matter what I went through I just stayed in my zone & listened to a lot of rock n roll & R&B. Since I had the gift of writing I just changed with the style.

Transitioning from R&B to hip hop at 14 is a significant shift. What prompted this change, and how did it influence your artistic development?

Poetry & different iconic legends I dealt with in the past some inspiring.
The edge spoking word was intriguing.
To master skills

Being an underground iconic legend, how do you maintain your integrity and stay true to righteousness in an industry often driven by commercial success?

Depending on what you see or what you’re exposed to & learning the business itself pushes u to make decisions that can alter your life. If they are not self-conscious of self-reflection morals & values that’s the nice way of me not exposing my real thoughts of the industry.

Running The Mecca Music Group independently is a bold move. What are some of the biggest challenges and rewards you’ve encountered on this journey?

The truth definitely no rewards just the hard grind of independence in a dominant world of control that leads to sabotage if u have no direction, it’s definitely my god Jehovah that sustains me. I’m just solidifying my mark as 1 of the greatest MC’s or lyricist no fame no fortune just respect as a hard independent worker

Can you tell us more about the mission and vision behind The Mecca Music Group? How do you ensure it remains a sanctuary for authentic hip hop artistry?

My skills, the topics, the movement & motivational speaker & healer that I speak about since I’m independent a lone star outside of all entities the mecca music is me. I started out as REBEL queen mecca, then Mecca4ever, then the ghost, finally rebel queen mecca which defines me the whole world hasn’t had the chance to hear all my music but I’m going to push to the capacity because it can also help the broken ones who had to find their own escape like me.

Your roots in Southside Jamaica, Queens, have had a profound impact on your music. How does your hometown continue to influence your sound and message?

It didn’t; being black balled nobody acknowledges your existence & in all honesty outside of music I really don’t know who I am as far as my personal life of growing up there are just those out there that felt my energy and rocked out.

Who were some of your musical influences growing up, and how have they shaped your artistry today?

Micheal Jackson, Prince, Poor Righteous teachers, Fu Snikens Mint Condition, Lauran Hill, Morris day, Music Soulchild, Faith evens, Tupac SWV, Jesse Johnson, Sheila E, brilliant energy in there artistry I’m my own woman but I definitely like there music.

Looking ahead, what are your goals for the future of Mecca Music Group and your own career as an artist? How do you plan to continue breaking barriers and setting new standards in hip hop?

Honestly my life isn’t regular or normal or totally free like everybody’s else’s I’m in a situation where my god Jehovah is directing & guarding my steps. I created all types of projects that’s guaranteed success but it’s in my god hands of the outcome.
