What’s good P4TRONE. Where are you from and what was life like growing up in your city?
Was Gud thank you a lot. I’m from Marietta GA / Houston and growing up in Marietta was pretty chill I was blessed to have my mother supporting me in any way she could whether it was basketball or whatever I wanted to do she was always there telling me I can be the best if i stop being shy and put my mind to it. Houston tho is where all my cousins are I grew up with and its a whole different ball game out there lol I got jumped for the first time out there when I was 6 or 7 by two Hispanics but luckley my cousin was there with me and we got they ahh lol I’m thankful for my younger years
When did you decide that music was going to be your passion and why?
Well I’ve been doing music since I was 4 years old and it has always been something ive had a passion for. I had been to studios, recorded and everything but it wasnt until 2015 when i said “you know what i cant let this talent go to waiste people need to hear this shit” lol and i been going steady since
Describe your sound. What do you want your potential fans to hear when they listen to your music?
My sound is very unique from what you are going to hear from most female rappers now a days. i am very concious in my music i get real deep about topics that touch me the most whether its personal or political, religious anything lol you never know what you about to hear and thats what i like about being unique in my sound i can be real serious and i can switch it up and turn up
What music are you currently working on?
Right now I just released my most recent project “Heaven Sent, Hell Bound” so I’m glad thats wrapped up now im trying to work on a few singles and putting money behind them to get them professionally mixed and mastered so the quality of my music can improve
Who are some of the producers currently working on your project?
Aw man shout out to all producers first of all because without them nun of this rap shit would be possible, but special shout out to my boy Bloo Boy he always sending me dope beats and my guy WayneBeats they always sending me some fire with no problem
Who are some of the people who influenced you in the music business?
Well of course pac cause he just the goat he was fearless and didnt have no filter on what he was talking about in music he said what he wanted to say also lauryn hill because she was so positive in her music uplifting women you never heard her talking about anything degrading to women which is rare in our day. My current influences are J. Cole and Kendrick lamar them niggas are dominating the rap game while being positive and being themselves i feel like there is no limit with these guys
What is your definition of Grynd?
My definition of grynd is continuing to strive through whatever obstacles you come across in life and not letting anyone tell you what you cant do! Set a goal and achieve it even if you are taking baby steps towards that goal, baby steps are better than no steps, Continue to be ambitious never think you are too young or too old for anything you want in life
