Demetrius Hafis Bey pka Demegod, is the Hip-Hop artist formerly known as Dangerous, born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Mount Vernon, NY, the hometown of many entertainment/industry aficionados. Demegod has risen through the all too familiar ordeals of urban environments and the problems that come to many youth. He embraces his life experiences to fuel his creativity, narrative writing and production as a rap lyricist.
Demegod is an immense hip-hop talent; from working with entertainment law firms, music placements in notable films, to working with renowned artists like Kanye West to his credit. His most recent release “Get Your Lies Straight” Featuring Kanye West, is a hardcore rap vibe, bringing back the boom bap and emphasis on lyrical word play.
As a Culturalist, author, speaker, Hip Hop Talent, Activist & Actor, DemeGod not only has he debuted in movies such as “The Bait,” starring Actor Jamie Foxx, “Took The Bait“, a collaboration with the legendary Rap Icon “Scarface”, and more he has also released multiple singles under his multimedia company Moor Money Entertainment, and Published a book entitled “If God could Rap (Rhythm & Poetry)” Outlining the importance of lyrics in songs. Demegod is like no other as he focuses on bigger implications of his craft like society and culture.
