Chizabam – Playback | @chizabam

Chizabam? Haven’t heard the name yet? Get used to it. He’s been making big noise in the music scene. Some might say he’s a machine, that is, the way he’s been pumping out material. The Dallas based, Atlanta-native artist-producer released over a dozen singles by the end of the second quarter of 2020. In addition, he’s featured on, produced, and engineered two albums (First Quarter, Second Quarter) with the hip hop standout Cashonable, produced singles for New Orleans standout Sleeve-0, Loudiene, Fiend, Highlandboy Ryda, and more. His single Playback was featured on west coast legend The Game’s Who Got Game Vol 3.

With his all-too catchy hooks, dynamic flows, and slappy beats, this creative is taking the game by storm. For many, he’s known for his substantive content and his ability to bring listeners into his own world. His influences include Zapp and Roger, Bobby Womack, Parliament-Funkadelic, classical music, Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, Outkast, Goodie Mobb, UGK, Young Jeezy, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Shawty Redd, DJ Screw, among many more. His highly anticipated album ‘Lone Star Nights’ is set to drop in late September 2020.

Fun fact about Chizabam: He’s half Nigerian. His father is from Naija. He often says that his love for drum comes from his father and his mother, who was a drum-majorette for three years at her Vidalia, LA high school.
